BANGKOK, Sept 18 – The new government under Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-o-cha announced its plans to change the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into the Ministry of Digital Economy to ensure that work operations are done in unity.

Gen Prayuth told the press earlier today that establishment of the Digital Economy Ministry is now underway, which he believes should show signs of progress soon, as its is being led by ICT Minister Pornchai Rujiprapa.
