Bangkok to host ‘Car Free Day’ activities on September 21

BANGKOK, 11 September 2014 (NNT) –The Bangkok Metropolitan Authority (BMA) is set to host a ‘Bangkok Car Free Day’ on September 21, to boost the use of mass transportation instead of private cars.

The BMA Deputy Governor Pussadee Tamthai briefed the media that the BMA and its partners are scheduled to organize a bike rally from Sanam Luang to Silom Road which is expected to see at least 20,000 bikes join the rally.
