Veera Somkwamkid to be released in seven days

BANGKOK, Aug 25 – The Crime Suppression Division (CSD) is waiting to see if the military will file an additional charge against Veera Somkwamkid and other activists, saying that they will be released in seven days if no more charges are made.

Deputy CSD Commander Pol Col Prasobchok Prommoon today inspected the detention of Mr Veera and seven other activists who were arrested during their walk campaign for Thai energy reform near the Victory Monument yesterday.
