British Man Detained at Airport Due to Weight-loss

A British man who underwent extreme weight loss as a result of attending a Thai Boxing camp on Phuket was detained for questioning at the airport as he attempted to leave because he did not resemble his passport photo.

33-year-old Ross Connor had spent a year at the camp, where he would work out for four hours in the heat of the day every day. His weight dropped from 133 kilograms to just 82 and, as a result, bore comparatively little resemblance to the man who had arrived at the same airport a year earlier.
