Police truck rocked by bomb explosion in Bangkok

A police tow truck parked in front of the Royal Plaza on Ratchadamnoen Nok road was damaged when a bomb planted beneath exploded early Saturday morning.

The explosion at 2.00 a.m. today prompted the police and soldiers to step up security checks on all vehicles passing the areas and to mount manhunt for two men in a motorcycle seen riding near the tow truck and making off immediately shortly after the explosion.
