Chiang Mai releases 3.4 million fish into Ping river on Chakri day

CHIANG MAI, 6 April 2014 (NNT) – The provinc of Chiang Mai has organized a ceremony to release more than 3 million fish into the Ping river on Sunday.

April 6 is Chakri day, the day to commemorate the contribution of the First king of the Chakri dynasty, who founded Bangkok as the capital of Thailand in 1782.
