A seven-year-old Anglo-Thai boy was rescued by police and medics on Saturday after being trapped in his East Pattaya house for a week.

L. S.’s 37-year-old father, R. S., died in the rented house on Soi Khao Talo and the young boy was unable to attract the attention of neighbours in order to get help.

A neighbour did finally call the emergency services after the smell of Mr S.’s decomposing body got worse and worse.
