14 tons of garbage left on Khao Niao Road, Khon Kaen

KHON KAEN, 16 April 2014 (NNT) – Fourteen tons of garbage has been left on Khao Niao Road, Khon Kaen, after huge celebrations. Most of it paper and plastic bags.

Khon Kaen Municipality officials began organizing the clean up of all the garbage piled on the road by revellers during the water festival. It ranges from Khon Kaen city pillar to the intersection of Srichan road and Naa Mueng roads. Moreover, workers use water hoses to clean up the powder on the road.
