BANGKOK, 26 March 2014 (NNT) – Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, the Leader of the Democratic Party, today fell and broke his collarbone.

Mr. Abhisit has now been admitted to Ramathibodi Hospital after he slipped and fell at his house on Sukhumvit Road, Soi 31, this morning causing his left collarbone to break when he hit a hard surface. Surgery to reconnect the broken bone is needed. It is expected he will have to stay at the hospital for another 2-3 days.
