Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Agriculture Minister Yugol Limlaemthong has categorically dismissed as completely groundless a report circulating in the social media about an outbreak of bird flu in Thailand.

He said that person or persons who circulated the false report about bird flu in the social media had malicious intention to destroy Thailand’s chicken industry after Japan has lifted a prolonged ban on Thai frozen chicken effective as of January 9.
