Protest leader Suthep denounces violent incidents against protesters

BANGKOK, Dec 6 – Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban on Friday condemned violent incidents late Thursday in which two guards were wounded in separate minor clashes near the anti-government rally site at the Democracy Monument on Ratchdamnoen Avenue and at the Finance Ministry.

Mr Suthep posted a message on his personal social media page, denouncing the violence against protesters. However, he has not yet announced any further move.
