Protest guard wounded in gun attack in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Dec 31 – A volunteer guard of Thailand’s anti-government protest group was wounded in a gun attack at Misakawan intersection on Rajdamnoen Avenue late last night.

The victim was identified as Pokket Boonyok, 45, a taxi driver who was a volunteer guard of the Network of Students and People for the Reform of Thailand (NSPRT), a splinter group of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC).
