One guard killed and three injured in gunfires near Bangkok protest site
A guard of the Network of Students and People for the Reform of Thailand (NSPRT) was killed and three other protesters were injured when gunmen in a sedan opened fire with M 16 assault rifle at the guards at Chamai Maruchet Bridge before dawn today.
The killed protester who acted as guard for the protesters was identified as Chamriang Jitwatk 31, a resident from Bang Saphan district of Prachuab Khiri Khan.
