Former PM Abhisit Vejjajiva re-elected Democrat Party leader

BANGKOK, Dec 17 – Former prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva was re-elected as leader of Thailand’s opposition Democrat Party today.

With 328 voters in today’s meeting witnessed by the Election Commission officials, Mr Abhisit won 98 per cent of the votes with no competition, making him Democrat Party leader for his fourth term.
