On Sunday afternoon Pattaya Police were called to the Markland Condominium in Soi 1 off Pattaya Beach Road, to assist a German resident who claimed he had been drugged and robbed by two Thai women he had earlier invited to his apartment.

Mr. Joachim Gerd Lay aged 73 initially called his German friends who came and called the Police on his behalf. Mr. Lay had sustained facial lacerations which he claimed were caused by him falling over due to his drowsy state.
