DSI urges Bangkok protesters to end rally

BANGKOK, 11 November 2013 (NNT) – The Department of Special Investigation is urging demonstrators to end their rallies to minimize damage to the country’s economy and security.

DSI chief Tarit Pengdit said that core leaders should call off anti-government activities after the government had promised to drop the blanket amnesty bill from Parliament agenda.

His statement came after core leaders had announced that they would elevate the protests in a bid to overthrow the Yingluck administration.
