Chiang Mai prepares for Chinese prime minister visit

CHIANG MAI, 10 October 2013 (NNT) – Chiang Mai officials are busy preparing for Saturday’s visit by Chinese prime Minister Li Keqiang, who will have his dinner hosted at the Royal Park Ratchaphruek horticultural complex.

Mr. Li will board an airplane to Chiang Mai on Saturday evening, after spending the earlier part of the day launching an exhibition on China’s high-speed trains at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. After arriving in the northern province, he will join Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra at a dinner hosted by the Thai government at Royal Park Ratchaphruek.
