25 provinces of Thailand still flooded, death toll reaches 42

BANGKOK, Oct 13 – 25 provinces are still flooded, while inundation in 17 other provinces has been easing, according to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department.

Director-general Chartchai Promlert said on Sunday that the flooding situation has eased in 17 provinces: Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Phayao, Lampang, Kamphaeng Phet, Uthai Thani, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Chumphon, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Yasothon, Nakhon Sawan, Chanthaburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
