Plans to relocate passenger vans from Victory Monument in progress

BANGKOK, 17 July 2013 (NNT) – The Transport Company Limited is working with the Department of Land Transport, the Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority (ETA) and the Traffic police in seeking a venue to make a terminal for passenger vans, replacing the existing one at the Victory Monument which is causing heavy traffic to the area.

Managing Director of Transport Company Limited Wuttichart Kalayanamit said the units mentioned agreed at their recent meeting that initially they would negotiate with the ETA to use a space underneath the expressway in Soi Morleng area, which is expected to accommodate as many as 1,000 passenger vans.
