BANGKOK, July 15 – Thailand’s Education Ministry and the British Council are holding a four-day orientation for 197 British volunteers before they start working as teacher assistants in schools nationwide.

The number of volunteers this year tripled that of last year to 197 volunteers recruited from 700 applicants who are studying in universities or have just graduated.
