A “technology theme park” – touted as the first in Southeast Asia – is being planned by Science and Technology Minister Woravat Auapinyakul, who will ask the House for Bt44.162 billion for his ministry’s 2014 fiscal year budget.

Under orders from Prime Minister Yingluck Shinwatra to stimulate the industrial sector, Woravat says his ministry’s budget has been tripled from the previous year.
