Yingluck Shinawatra will not attend ceremony to mark Constitution Day on Monday

BANGKOK, Dec 8 – Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra would not attend a ceremony to mark the Constitution Day on Monday due to flu but she was likely to visit southernmost provinces on Thursday, according to Secretary General to the Prime Minister Suranand Vejjajiva.

Mr Suranand said that Ms Yingluck would not lead the cabinet ministers to lay flowers paying homage to the statue of King Rama VII to remember his goodness on “Constitution Day” in front of the Parliament Building.
