Mass candle-lighting ceremony marks King’s 85th birthday

BANGKOK, Dec 5 – Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra presided over a ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and light candles on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.

On this auspicious occasion, representatives from all government agencies gathered at Sanam Luang ceremonial ground to demonstrate their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King, the world’s longest-reigning monarch.
