A gunman riding in a black car shot the driver of Pattaya Lord Mayor Itthipol Khunplome three times while he was driving a motorbike to take his wife home. The driver is still in a coma at the hospital.

His wife said her husband never had a quarrel with anyone, and she has no idea why he was shot.
