A 25-year-old Russian tourist was slashed five times with a knife during a street robbery in Jomtien by two men who fled on a motorbike.

The thieves stole her handbag and tried to yank a gold necklace from her neck, but she resisted and ran for help, seriously bleeding from her wounds.
