Thai PM Yingluck attends US-ASEAN Business Forum in Cambodia

BANGKOK, 12 July 2012 (NNT) – Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is scheduled to visit Cambodia on Friday as a guest of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the first US-ASEAN Business Forum, held in Siem Reap.

Ms Yingluck and her delegates will travel to Siem Reap province of Cambodia tomorrow to attend the day-long US-ASEAN forum and to hold bilateral discussions with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and his ministers.

Yingluck Shinawatra will attend a welcome reception with Mrs Clinton before delivering a keynote speech at the forum. Myanmar President Thein Sein, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Prime Minister Hun Sen are also scheduled to address the forum.

The US-Asean Business Forum will convene cabinet ministers and policymakers from the US and ASEAN governments, as well as business leaders from the United States and ASEAN.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is scheduled to return to Thailand on the same day.
