Bangkok Governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra on Thursday ordered officials to monitor flood-risk areas after heavy rains triggered floods on several roads in the city in the morning, reports said.

MR Sukhumbhand directed all district offices to prepare for flash floods due to excessive rainfall, especially in the Ekamai, Thonglor and Sukhumvit areas as well as any area where drainage cleaning work has not been finished.
