Police arrest 12 Taiwanese in call centre scam based in Chon Buri

CHON BURI, May 26 – Thai police arrested 12 Taiwanese in call centre scam based in Chon Buri province along with an array of communication devices and notebook computers.

Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung police station superintendent Pol Col Somchai Sunthonvanik led police to search a rented house in Bang Lamung district which was suspected of being the headquarters of a foreign call centre scam, deceiving victims to transfer money to the syndicate.
