Van-truck crash in Bangkok-Chonburi Motorway kills 6, 7 hurt

A passenger van collided with an 18-wheel truck on the motorway heading to Chonburi on Friday morning, resulting in five deaths and eight people injured.

The Jor Sor 100 traffic radio station reported that a passenger van travelling between Bangkok and Chachoengsao ploughed into the back of the truck at the 34th kilometre stone about 7am.

Update: A sixth person has died following the horrific crash on the Bangkok-Chonburi motorway this morning, when a passenger van ploughed into the back of an 18-wheel truck, reports said.
