Two villagers killed in Pattani shootings

PATTANI, Jan 6 – Two local residents were shot dead on Friday in separate insurgent attacks, the latest in this restive southern province.

The first incident occurred in Sai Buri district when Sakariya Karubi, 36, was driving his pick-up truck to his home around 11.30am and he was attacked by an unknown number of gunmen riding on a pick-up truck.
