Thailand’s 7-day New Year road toll: 335 deaths and 3,375 injured

A total of 335 people were killed and 3,375 injured in road accidents during the “seven dangerous days’’ over the New Year, the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department reported on Thursday.

The department said there were altogether 3,093 road accidents throughout the country during the seven-day road toll count which began on Thursday and ended on Wednesday (Dec 29 – Jan 4).
