Thai police say they have insufficient evidence to prove whether red-shirt core leader Khattiya Sawasdipol was shot dead by state security officials as some believe.

Pol Col Wichanwat Borirakkun, of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, said police investigating Maj Gen Khattiya’s murder cannot yet say who did it.
