Bangkok Taxi Drivers Disperse from Area in Front of Government House

Taxi drivers unhappy with the government’s plan to increase the prices of natural gas have agreed to call off their protest.

The government has promised to issue them 4-months’ worth of discount coupons to help alleviate the financial burden of increased prices. Meanwhile, their cargo truck counterparts are still not satisfied with the government’s answer and are still blocking outbound Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
