Korat Call Center Gang Arrested Stealing Flood Donation Money

Crime Suppression Division, Pol. Maj. Gen. Supisarn Pakdeenaruenart, Commissioner together with Pol. Col. Piya Charoensuk, Superintendent and Pol. Lt. Col. Theeradech Thamsuthee, Deputy Superintendent, reported the arrest of Mr. Roongroj or “Toong” Maddeen age 31 and Ms. Marisa Ranjuanjit age 25, from Nakhon Si Thammarat province.

The police were notified by Mrs. Vitchanee Srisawat, Vice President of Marketing Department of Workpoint Co., Ltd. about suspects hacking information from the call center of a popular TV program “Ratcharot Ma Koey” in order to steal donation money for the flood victims.
