DSI set to tackle eight ‘special’ criminal activities in Thailand

The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has agreed to take on eight criminal activities as special issues, DSI director-general Tarit Pengdith said yesterday.

On December 19, the Cabinet agreed to expand the scope of special cases to cover criminal cases related to computer activity, foreign-owned businesses in Thailand, human trafficking, mining, finance business, cosmetics, hazardous substances, medicine and food.
