Thai police wrapping up probe into Japanese cameraman’s death

The police report into the death of a Japanese cameraman in connection with the last year’s political mayhem is being wrapped up and the prosecution review will commence next week, Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung said Tuesday.

“The Japanese government can rest assured that the case will be solved in a transparent manner and in accordance with the judicial process,” he said, giving his assurance to Japanese Ambassador Seiji Kojima.
