PATTANI, Nov 17 — Nine concurrent bombings and gun attacks took place Wednesday night mainly at government buildings and post office toilets in five districts of Pattani, Thailand but there was no report of casualties.

Pattani provincial police commissioner Pol Maj Gen Pichet Pitisethpan on Thursday led forensic and bomb experts to inspect the attack scenes in the five districts – the provincial seat, Nong Chik, Panare, Yarang and Yaring districts — (mainly) government buildings, military bases and post offices.
