Thai PM visits flooded central region, flood assistance continues

BANGKOK, Sept 7 – As flooding in many provinces remains unabated, and deteriorating, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra led her team to visit impacted areas in Chai Nat, Ang Thong and Ayutthaya on Wednesday to distribute flood relief supplies and listen to reports on the flood situation.

Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister/Interior Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit, Ms Yingluck and her team will return to Bangkok at 6pm this evening.
