Thai Cabinet to Consider First-home Loan Scheme

The finance minister is set to propose the first-time home buyers loan scheme at the Cabinet meeting tomorrow and is expected to suggest that the ceiling price for homes be raised from three million to five million baht.

Finance Minister Thirachai Phuvanatnaranubala said he will propose the interest-free loan policy for first-time home buyers at tomorrow’s Cabinet meeting.

The proposed ceiling price for houses will be raised from three million to five million baht to enable first-time home buyers to buy property in the downtown area.
