BANGKOK, Sept 7 – Outgoing Thai National Security Council secretary-general Thawil Pliensri on Wednesday said he will petition Thailand’s committee on merit systems very soon to redress what he described as an “unfair” transfer order with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra as the possible primary target.

Speaking to a news conference one day after being transferred to become an adviser to the prime minister with immediate effect, Mr Thawil said he was upset with the transfer order as he has been working for the nation and every government.
