Thailand’s Pattaya Police Social Order Crackdown continues with a further beach clean-up in the early hours of Tuesday on Pattaya Beach which resulted in the arrest of 70 people – 30 women and 40 transsexuals.

Once again they were profiled and fined 100 Baht before being allowed to leave. Although the small fine is unlikely to result in eradication of the beach prostitutes, it is clearly having an effect as later on in the morning the beach was deserted.
