Floods Continue to Ravage Provinces of Thailand
The flooding situation in a number of provinces remains critical as river water levels continue to rise at a rapid rate, severely distressing communities nationwide.
In Phitsanulok’s Wat Bode District, the temporary embankment constructed by villagers has collapsed for the third time after Kwainam Burungdan Dam discharged large volumes of water, causing further inundation in the area since the water could not be drained into the Nan River.
Five villages in the district have been flooded by the discharged water.
