Yingluck Shinawatra has officially become the 28th prime minister of Thailand after receiving the royal endorsement this evening.
His Majesty the King granted his royal command to formally endorse Pheu Thai’s number one party-list MP Yingluck Shinawatra as Thailand’s 28th prime minister, also the country’s first female leader.
House Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranon received the royal command during an audience with His Majesty the King at Siriraj Hospital at around 5.30 P.M.
