New Zealand croquet chief found dead in Thailand
Thai police are investigating the robbery and murder of a New Zealander holidaying in Thailand.
He was Charles Jones, president of the World Croquet Federation and a recipient of a Queen’s Service Medal for his contribution to the sport.
Mr Jones was found dead in an apartment in the city of Pattaya, southeast of Bangkok, where he had been visiting friends and promoting the sport he loved.
