BANGKOK, Aug 27 — CentralPlaza Bangna was expected to reopen on Sunday after fire that broke out Saturday on the 6th-7th floor in the food centre zone was currently under control with no major injuries reported.
The fire broke out around 3.30pm. Staff and firefighters evacuated customers to nearby Big C Supercenter as some customers were frightened and feeling faint.
Four fire trucks were sent to fight the fire but faced difficulties accessing the building as many customer’s cars were left in the car park, while many cars rushed to exit the mall.
