Bangkok Bidding for 10 New Skytrain Routes by Year-end

Thailand’s Transport Ministry is set to hold construction bidding for ten new Skytrain routes linking the city with its suburbs by the end of this year.

Transport Minister Admiral Sukhampol Suwannathat said the government is currently expediting a plan to construct ten new Skytrain routes connecting Bangkok to the suburbs.

The ten new routes are Thammasat-Mahachai, Salaya-Hua Mak, Don Muang-Bang Sue-Phaya Thai-Suvarnabhumi, Bang Yai-Ratburana, Bang Sue-Hua Lampong-Tha Phra-Phuttamonthon 4, Lam Luk Ka-Samut Prakan, Yos Se-Bang Wa, Taling Chan-Minburi Kaerai-Minburi and Lad Phrao-Sam Rong.
