PATTANI, May 7 — Two separate bomb attacks in the southern provinces of Pattani and Yala have killed six security officials and wounded 16 others.

The first explosion occurred near a local football pitch in Kapho district, Pattani while 17 policemen were arriving to play a football match with villagers.

The bomb killed three policemen while 14 others were injured, five among them were seriously wounded.
