Woman arrested on 10 million baht fraud charge
The perils of getting into debt or lending money were never more evident than when two Thai females came to Pattaya police station to identify a 33-year-old woman who allegedly owed them 10 million baht.
The woman had allegedly forged a document which made her the owner of a shop on Thepprasit Road and used this as collateral to borrow the 10 million baht from the two complainants in 2010. She then disappeared but was found living in Soi Khopai in South Pattaya and arrested by police.
