11 unlicensed Pattaya bars shut by district licensing officials
11 pubs suspected of being unlicensed and operating outside of designated entertainment zones were raided by Banglamung District Licensing Officials on Friday Night. Each venue did not possess a valid trading license and were also open after the permitted time for venues outside of entertainment zones.
The pubs were located around the Pattaya area from North to South Pattaya and during the raids, the owners and managers were detained and patrons were checked to ensure they were over the age of 20.
