CHACHOENGSAO, Jan 11 – Two persons, a pilot and a senior aide to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, were injured in a helicopter crash in Chachoengsao Tuesday morning.

Pilot Pol Lt Col Decho Phusri and royal aide Piboon Sirisaengtrakul were injured in the accident and taken to hospital.

The helicopter made an emergency landing in Bang Nam Prieo district while it was on a mission to inspect areas in Chachoengsao’s Sanam Chai Khet district and Sa kaeo province where HRH Princess Sirindhorn is to visit on Wednesday.
